2018 ELECTION OF OFFICERS
VOTING TIMES AND INSTRUCTIONS
CONTESTED POSITIONS – We received more than one nomination for the following position:

Please note that all members who pay dues are eligible to vote, and there are no restrictions on FSA members voting for faculty or staff. Faculty can vote for staff and staff can vote for faculty. We will be conducting two days of in-person paper ballot voting followed by two days of online voting as follows:
In-person Paper Ballot Voting
10:00am – 4:00pm Wednesday, May 2 and Thursday, May 3
Polling stations will be open during this time at the following locations:
Chilliwack CEP — Library
Chilliwack TTC — Faculty reception
Mission — Business office
Abbotsford — FSA office B377
10:00am Friday, May 4 through to 4:00pm Monday, May 7
Electronic ballots for this election will be submitted only to those members who have NOT cast their vote in-person. The online voting period begins at 10 a.m., Friday, May 4. Emails will be sent to all eligible voters from the FSA Info account (email@example.com) via Simple Survey at this time. Each of these emails will contain a unique link to an electronic ballot. Click on the link and you will be taken to your ballot. Ballots are mobile-friendly and easily viewable from any desktop, phone or tablet.
After completing the ballot, the unique individual link is destroyed. Importantly, each individual receives their own link; do not forward this email to any other individuals. Following submission of your ballot, you will see a screen confirming its acceptance. Reminders will be sent automatically to those who do not complete their ballots. These reminders also will contain the link to your ballot. Only those individuals who have not completed their ballot will be emailed reminders.
PRIVACY NOTICE: Only response data is collected. Specifically, the email address associated with the ballot, the unique link, the invite parameters, and the IP address of the submission are not stored.
IMPORTANT: Do not forward your ballot notice to any other individual. If you do not otherwise have access to a computer in order to log into your UFV email account, you may use the computers in the FSA office between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you have any questions regarding this information, please email the secretary treasurer/recording officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
