Welcome to the UFV Faculty and Staff Association. The UFV-FSA represents over 460 faculty and 360 staff employees at UFV, and has been the official collective bargaining agent for university employees since June 14th, 1977.
The FSA exists primarily to represent you in labour-management relations. We represent you at the bargaining table every time we re-negotiate our Collective Agreement (often referred to as “the Contract”). Moreover, we represent you after bargaining to make sure that your rights under the contract are being respected. In addition, we always welcome you to drop in and chat or ask for information or advice about any aspect of life at UFV, and, of course, to hear your concerns and find out how we can help. More often than not, the FSA is in a position to influence management on issues which reach far beyond the terms of the collective agreement.
