What is our Collective Agreement?
The Collective Agreement is a joint, legally binding document between the FSA and UFV. This agreement is crucial in defining the rights and working conditions of faculty and staff at UFV. It is important to know your responsibilities and rights, so you should familiarize yourself with your Collective Agreement.
The chief stewards and stewards are trained to answer your questions about the Agreement.
During contract negotiations, bargaining updates are posted in the Discussion Forum of our member only sign in area. You may also contact the Bargaining Vice President for information.
The Bargaining Vice President works with the Contract committee and with FSA members through surveys and forums to establish bargaining priorities. Suggestions from individual members, or groups of members, are also taken into consideration. Extraordinary General Meetings will be conveyed from time to time to consult with the membership on contract bargaining.
The new 2022-2025 agreement was ratified by the FSA on November 28th, 2023, and ratified by the Post Secondary Employer's Association (PSEA) on December 6th, 2023.
