Attention Sessionals and LTA’s
Did you know that you can get qualified to teach courses beyond what you were initially interviewed and hired for? This could give you the opportunity for more teaching work in the future. For example: If you interviewed for and began to teach Painting and Printmaking, but you are also trained and have teaching experience in Drawing and Photography, you can request a Standing SAC review your qualifications.
Our Collective Agreement says:
18.14 Sessional Faculty may request that a Standing SAC review their qualifications to teach a course or courses they have not been previously qualified to teach.
Reach out to your Department Head or Director for more information.
