 Dear Members 

We are thankful to regularly hear from many of you and see you at forums and your emails in our inboxes. It’s a rewarding time to be involved with the UFV-FSA. There is so much advocacy and awareness work to be done. If you have been thinking about how to make your workplace better and get more involved with the FSA, your chances have never been better. 

  

Did you know that FSA service can be used towards your UFV service requirements? If this is an opportunity that is of interest to you, consider one of the upcoming opportunities below: 

You can address your expression of interest including: 

  • your name 
  • department 
  • role at UFV 
  • reasons for wanting to serve 
  • the position of your choice

FSA stewards are required in the following areas for a 1-year term (with the option to renew for a second year):  

 

Faculty Reps: 

1 Steward – Faculty at Large #1 

1 Steward – Faculty at Large #2 

1 Steward – Faculty at Large #3 

1 Steward – Faculty at Large #4 

 

Staff Reps: 

1 Steward – Representing the Abbotsford and Mission campuses  

1 Steward – Representing CEP/TTC 

1 Steward – Staff at large #1 

 

 

This group serves as the frontline connections to members, helping them navigate the collective agreement.
