Dear members:
The FSA is working with a third-party consultant, VezaGlobal, to undertake our Equity Audit. Veza Global is run internationally by women of colour who work with universities and unions among other organizations.
To aid in the design of the FSA EDI strategy, we want to hear from you, our members. In the coming weeks, we will send out a survey and invitations to focus groups to offer you the opportunity to share your thoughts on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Please read through to the end of this email for details on the focus group registration. We want to learn more about the make-up of our membership, what we are doing well, what opportunities for growth and change we have, and what barriers to full inclusion and participation remain. Your feedback will create positive change specific to our membership and the union.
A few points to note:
You will receive an email with links to complete the survey on the 21st of March and it will remain open until April 4th. The survey should take roughly 30 minutes to complete.
We are very much looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance for your time and effort in making this critical initiative a success.
